We are seeking applications for a
Sonographer in
Christchurch. In this position you will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services to patients and referrers while contributing to a supportive and collaborative clinical team.
This is a
part time (35 hours per week) position,
fixed-term until July 2027.
The successful candidate will:
- Undertake and interpret ultrasound examinations independently and produce clinical reports.
- Deliver outstanding patient care through clear communication, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support student sonographer training when required.
Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About you - Professionally recognised ultrasound qualification and current MRTB Annual Practising Certificate.
- Experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Proven excellence in patient care and strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and ongoing medical education.
