He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role We’re looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide proactive, high-quality support to RHCNZ’s Chief Radiologist and coordination support to our Regional Managing Radiologists. This permanent role, based in either Auckland or Christchurch, will be a central point of connection for radiologist leadership activity across our national organisation.
You’ll work closely with senior clinical leaders, anticipating priorities, coordinating complex schedules and forums, preparing high-quality documentation and ensuring decisions and actions keep moving.

The work will include:
- Providing proactive executive support to the Chief Radiologist, including diary management, travel, meeting logistics, correspondence, briefings and follow-up.
- Coordinating Managing Radiologist meetings, leadership forums and governance processes, including agendas, papers, minutes, decisions and action logs.
- Preparing clear, professional communications, presentations, reports and leadership updates.
- Supporting strategic projects and initiatives through strong planning, documentation, coordination and progress reporting.
- Assisting with radiologist recruitment, credentialing, induction and onboarding administration.
- Improving templates, systems and administrative processes so information and workflows are consistent and easy to navigate.
Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About you You’ll be an accomplished Executive Assistant, senior coordinator or administration professional who is confident supporting senior leaders in a complex environment. You’ll be calm under pressure, comfortable managing competing priorities and trusted to handle sensitive information with discretion.
You’ll likely have:
- Significant experience in an Executive Assistant, Administration Manager, senior coordinator or similar role.
- Experience supporting senior leaders or executives, ideally within healthcare or another complex or regulated environment.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and follow through.
- Strong written communication, minute-taking and document preparation skills.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 capability across Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, with confidence using AI tools appropriately.
- Sound judgement, professionalism and a high level of discretion when working with confidential information.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach, strong attention to detail and a warm, responsive working style.
